Master Painters Association of Victoria and Tasmania

MPAV

Since 1895 the Master Painter’s Association has been representing the interests of painting, decorating and signwriting professionals of Victoria. In 1997 the Victorian and Tasmanian Master Painters’ Associations joined together to better support members across the two states.

The Master Painters’ Association’s purpose is to support its members to thrive as professional tradespeople, employers and essential contributors to the building and construction industry. The association was created for members by members and is governed by working members.

Through building strong connections across the industry, engaging with members and non-members, listening and enquiring, the association is able to understand the needs of painting, decorating and signwriting professionals. This understanding strengthens the support and advocacy that is at the heart of the Master Painters’ Association. The attitude of constantly learning as well as a belief in creating connections enables the association to share knowledge, promote the professions and support members to build and maintain their businesses.

The Master Painters’ Association provides technical, business and employer advice and guidance, promotion and marketing support, access to skills and professional training programs, mediation and dispute resolution services, professional services, and access to member only discounts through suppliers and partner organisations.

Becoming a member of the Master Painters’ Association provides recognition and confidence in the professionalism, reliability and skill of your business to customers and contractors as well as giving you the support and advice you need to thrive.
